We’re a CMITech (Capital Markets Infrastructure Tech), an ecosystem of services and financial solutions for capital markets. Our goal is to simplify the market by improving the experience of all stakeholders, both in terms of service and in the reduction of complexity.

Virgo was born to build a new capital market. We believe that the level of service and transparency in the market can reach a much higher level.

Our History

Virgo’s history starts in 2007, when ISEC was founded. Since then, the company has acquired many other companies (Beta Sec, Nova Sec, SCCI, Brasil Plural, CIBRASEC e LIG SEC), consolidating its leadership in the securities market.

In 2021, Virgo was born to consolidate the company’s evolution, looking ahead to the horizon that we are widening beyond securities services.

Virgo is a full-service transactional platform of access to capital, 100% transparent and that ensures the best conditions for all parties, between borrowers, investors, and companies.

Daniel Magalhães

CEO and CPO

Daniel Magalhães has 13 years of experience in market of alternative assets and has worked on the capital market development in Brazil. Since 2017, he invests in high-growth startups and has stakes in 80 companies in Brazil, the United States, Colombia, and Mexico. He works as an early-stage startup mentor and on initiatives to promote entrepreneurship.

Ivo Kos

CRO

Virgo’s co-founder, he has over 20 years of experience in the national and international financial and capital markets. He was a partner at Link, a broker sold to UBS, and founded Itaim Asset Management. In 2018, Kos bought Isec Participações and coordinated the acquisition of Cibrasec the following year, what enabled the kick start for building up Virgo.
